Do we have to use one of your recommended vendors?
We suggest that you use vendors from our preferred list as they understand the layout of WoodsEdge. We also know that they provide professional services and are properly licensed and insured. You may use your own vendor; however, WoodsEdge must be notified of all vendors at least 30 days in advance of the event and we require that they perform a sight visit at least 30 days before your event. We reserve the right to refuse access to vendors that are not properly licensed and insured.
Is alcohol allowed?
Yes, alcohol is permitted when served by a Licensed Bartender. We do not have a liquor license and do not assume any responsibility for the use of alcohol. If you choose to have alcohol for your wedding reception, you are fully responsible for it. All alcohol must be served by a certified bartender. Some caterers have insurance coverage and can provide the alcohol and bartenders. It is your responsibility to ensure the safe departure of your guests from WoodsEdge Farm.
Will someone be on site to help us?
Your event matters to us! The rental fee includes more than one WoodsEdge Farm employee who will be available start to finish for your event. The owners are always on-site to help with any need that arises.
Can you hold our date while we make plans?
In order to hold a particular date, you must execute a rental contract and pay a non-refundable deposit.
Are there hotel accommodations nearby?
Yes, there are several hotels and B&B’s approximately 5-10 minutes from WoodsEdge in neighboring towns of Lambertville, NJ, Stockton, NJ, Flemington, NJ and New Hope, PA.
Do I need Special Event insurance?
We require that you have general liability event insurance of not less than $1 million listing WoodsEdge as an additional insured. You can obtain a rider on you homeowners or renters insurance. You may also obtain a stand-alone policy from your insurance agent. If serving alcoholic beverages, the caterer needs to submit a Certificate of Liability Insurance as stated on the ‘Special Events’ form - naming WoodsEdge as an addtional insured.

Is the barn available for rent year round?
Due to climate, the barn is available for rent during May through October. We can accommodate a few December holiday parties upon request.
Does the barn have restrooms?
Yes, men’s and women’s permanent restrooms are available.
How many guests can the barn accommodate?
The barn can accommodate up to 400 people.
Does WoodsEdge have a curfew?
In accordance with Delaware Township ordinance,WoodsEdge has a curfew of 11:00pm. This means all festivities must be concluded with guests exiting no later than 11:00pm.
Is the barn heated or air conditioned?
In warmer weather, the barn has built-in, large exhaust fans and large doors which allow for air flow. During chilly months, external hot air blowers can be rented to heat the barn.
Does the barn have a kitchen?
No, caterers must bring all of their own equipment. This is a normal procedure for most off-site caterers.
Is the barn handicapped accessible?
Yes. The only place that is not is the upstairs Trophy Room/Bridal Suites and Mezzanine.
Do you provide tables and chairs?
No, due to the uniqueness of each client’s décor & style, all items must be rented. We work with a number of vendors who rent anything you can imagine.
Is the barn decorated?
The barn is equipped with plenty of lighting. Any additional décor or lighting is the responsibility of the renter. Most Florists or Event Planners can assist you with designing the day of your dreams.
