We have been told that WoodsEdge is a best kept secret; a true hidden gem. And as such, there may be a bit of mystery that surrounds hosting a wedding or event at WoodsEdge. Below are the most common initial questions that couples have when considering our farm for their celebration.

  • While we would love to host weddings & events 365 days a year, we only host them from May - October.

  • Our Event Barn can accommodate up to 350 for a wedding and up to 500 for a private event.

  • In warmer weather, the barn has built-in, large exhaust fans and large doors which allow for air flow. We also include large oscillating fans. During chilly months, external heaters help to warm the barn.

  • Yes, both men’s and women’s permanent, indoor restrooms are available.

  • We work exclusively with a hand-picked, full service caterer who uses only top quality, local produce and specialize in creative cuisine to suit your taste, style and budget. We do not allow for outside catering.

  • Yes, our rental package includes white padded, folding ceremony chairs, custom-made farmhouse tables and matching ivory cushioned chairs along with high & low tops table for cocktail hour and other miscellaneous tables that might be needed. We work with you to plan the perfect layout for your special event. We do the heavy lifting and take care of the set up and break down.

  • Yes. The only place that is not, is the upstairs Getting Ready Suites and Mezzanine.

  • The weddings that you see and love on our website range from $450 to $1,000 per person, with the pricing being impacted by the number of guests, vendors contracts, menu selections, and your specific taste and style.   • Yes. Mother Nature doesn’t always cooperate, so you have to have a Plan B. We will work with you to develop a contingency plan.

  • Yes. We call them our Creative Partners and they do an outstanding job! We highly recommend that you work with them to create your perfect event. However, you are welcome to work with any professional vendors of your choice (with the exception of the Caterer & DJ or Band). All vendors must be approved in advance by WoodsEdge and are required to submit proof of insurance prior to working onsite.

  • Yes, we require clients hire a professional planner for guests counts over 200. To ensure that your wedding or event goes off without a hitch, the planner must be selected from our Creative Partners List or pre-approved. A Day-of Coordinator is only permitted if chosen from WoodsEdge’s Creative Partners List.

  • While our alpacas & llamas don’t mind sharing their spacious barn suites, we do not have human accommodations available on site. There are wonderful local hotels and B&B’s near by.

  • You will have an incredible evening of celebrating, but in accordance with our Township’s ordinance, WoodsEdge has a curfew of 11:00pm. This means all festivities must be concluded with guests exiting no later than 10:30pm.

  • We require event insurance for every event. Most policies cover most lawsuits from your guests, bodily injury for your guests, property damage to your event location, and Host Liquor Liability. We also recommend getting cancellation insurance as well.

  • A 50% booking retainer and signed contract are required to secure your date. The remaining balance is due is due 30 days prior to your event date. Any events booked within 30 days will require full payment at the time of booking.
